While you were sleeping

Dear Creighton,

Last night, while you were sleeping, I watched you sleep.

You had a rough night last night and kept crying for me. After the 3rd time comforting you, I just couldn't resist picking you up and carrying you into my bad with me so we could cuddle. I wanted more than anything to flip the lights on so I could see you more clearly. You were angelic.

I love you angel. I always will.

Love always and forever,
Mommy

The Magic Beans

I started the magic beans yesterday. I wrote their names on a baby food jar and told them they would get beans for doing good things. However, for doing naughty things, they will have beans removed.

Throughout the day beans went in and beans went out. I even had beans taken out of my jar (yelling...yeah, gotta work on that. thanks kids for keeping me in check). I thought these really could be magic and this is what I needed. I told Creighton I would give him a LOT of beans if he would go poo-poos in the toilet. Yeah, they weren't so magical yesterday.

Today they were proving to be much more magical. In fact for one hour it was pure magic. My kids cleaned my house. They took all the groceries to the basement so I could put them in the storage room, they put the shoes away, did diaper duty, cleared the table, cleaned the living room, other odd jobs, AND Creighton went on the toilet. This was going to the be first day in a week that he wouldn't poop his pants. Hallelujah, I am loving you magic beans! Right.........

An hour later I realized I didn't put the groceries into the storage room and I go down stairs to find cans, 2 liters, cereal boxes smashed, and other groceries strewn throughout the basement. A few hours later, Creighton poops his pants.

Yeah, definitely not so magical.

My kids do keep asking me when they get to plant them so they can grow a beanstalk. Maybe that's what we can use them for....yeah and I can climb up it and get a golden egg and bring it down and hire a babysitter and maybe the harp lady will lullaby my kids for a nap everyday at the same time and....yeah I'll keep dreaming of that fairy tale.

Why?

Creighton just came upstairs and said, "I need to go poo-poo, I need to go poo-poo." My heart fluttered. Inside I am shouting for joy thinking finally, he's going to do it in the toilet. He said, "I need privacy." He shut the door and a minute or two later I hear the toilet flush and he's washing his hands. Finally, right?

NO. He pooped his pants inside the bathroom. Why flush the toilet and wash your hands after? Well, by the look on his face when he came out.... I think it was so he could see the look on my face when the realization swept over me.

Oh, and here is a picture I took of him this morning after he insisted on dressing himself. Don't mind the face, I don't know what kind of smile that is.

Don't you love when kids tuck their shirts into their underwear? Not so much when adults do though. (You know who you are.)

The Mean Spiderman

It's late. Midnight here, but I had to wait for Mitch to go to sleep before I could post this. Here it goes:

Mitch is seriously the best dad. He would do anything for his kids. He would buy the kids anything. In fact, I am nervous for ever having a girl. It's probably why we don't have one. A few weeks ago I was doing some research on Spiderman birthday parties and this one suggested having someone dress up as Spiderman to come and visit the kids. I mentioned it to Mitch and he didn't turn it down. I forgot about it though until last week when he asked me if I had gotten a costume.

I called a costume shop. No luck. They returned my call to say they didn't have Spiderman, however, they did have a "Spider" from Charlotte's Web. Yeah, that wasn't going to work. Mitch suggested I get it online. It was going to cost about $80 with shipping to get it in time though. Yeah, that wasn't going to work either. When I mentioned this to Mitch though, he actually paused and said, "So." What??? Weird. I was not going to do that so I made my debut on Facebook and asked the world for one. No luck again. Mitch asked about it AGAIN last night (seriously...you want to wear the costume.??) so this morning I found one at a costume shop. I called Mitch, told him he had to be there before 5 to try it on and he was excited and he actually went and purchased it. Crazy, but whatever. I knew the kids would love it and I was proud of Mitch for being a "Fun dad."

So after all the games of getting the bad guys, Mitch went up to change into Spiderman. I had hung up pictures of the bad guys and he was going to come down and shoot them with silly string with the "Spiderman" theme song playing in the background. I got the kids all excited and we were chanting "Spiderman, Spiderman, Spiderman" until the MEAN Spiderman came down and the crap hit the fan. (I apologize ahead of time the awful video. I don't know how to put it on my computer, so I had to use my camera on my phone to record it off the small screen on the camcorder. Also, there really isn't a lot to see because of all the CHAOS.

He GROWLED at them when he came down. Are you kidding? Have you seen Spiderman? Toby McGuire? Can you imagine him growling? Yeah, I think Mitch would not have done well at his casting call. It was awful. I wish I would have taken pictures of Mitch in the costume, but it was seriously chaos. Easton and this other little boy were freaking out crying, all the other kids looked like they were going to cry, and no one dared to move. As you saw near the end, he gave our kids hugs and then gave the screaming child (the one other than E) high five and it all was ok, but for about 1 minute it was awful. I really wish I could have documented it better but I was in shock and trying to get Mitch to stop freaking the kids out, comfort the screaming children, and turn the "Friendly Spiderman Themesong" music off. Yeah, couldn't concentrate on the filming, but the sounds tell the story.

Note to the world: Don't ever have Mitch dress up at a kid's birthday party.

I love you Mitch. You're the best dad even if you were a mean spiderman.

The Spiderman Party

Tonight was Creighton's Birthday Party. He has talked about his birthday party the last 6 months and how he wanted a spiderman cake with rings (we've had one before). The day finally arrived. We had 11 kids, mostly 2-3 year olds, at the house. Chaos, but not complete chaos.

I started by letting the kids know that Spiderman needs our help to catch all the bad guys. If we catch all the bad guys...spiderman may come and visit. Downstairs I had a ton of balloons who were the "bad guys" and they had to put them in the "jail." One game down. On to the next.
I split them into two groups. Mitch took half the kids and we set up all our little bad guys on a table and they got to shoot them down with the NERF guns. I took the other half and we did a little obstacle course and they used silly string to shoot the green goblin and the Octopus bad guy dude. They loved the silly string. Here's Creigh starting off the obstacle course....
After, Spiderman made a visit (More on this later)...

Then we broke out the pinata. We gave the kids many turns, and it ended with "Spiderman" using the metal bat to break it.
After it was the "Spiderman Ring" cake. Here is Jackson helping Creighton blowing the candles out again.
Thanks to all that came. It was a lot of fun!

*****Side note: The Blocks at the top of the post were from my sister. I had wanted them SOOO bad but of course Mitch says, "Do you need those?" so I didn't get them. Josie gave them to me for Christmas and they are my favorite. It's a whole alphabet with designs on the backside to decorate for every holiday. Thanks again Josie! You're the best!

Creighton's Birthday Days of FUN!

My camera is missing. Where oh where could it be? I've searched high and low but it still has yet to be found. After the "157 pictures" from last week, I uploaded the camera and it has disappeared. Luckily, my great friend lent me her camera to use these last 2 days with a promise to not let it disappear :). I did not and I have already returned it to make sure of it.

Why has a camera been necessary? Only because we have done more in the last 2 1/2 days than we have in all the days since Christmas. Monday night, after picking my dad up from the airport, the boys and my dad went to Coco Key. (For those who don't know, it's an indoor waterpark.) They had a blast. Especially because Creighton is now tall enough for the slide.

Yesterday was Creighton's 3rd Birthday and he had such a fun day. It started with breakfast at "Papa's Hotel," then swimming, then they went to a movie with popcorn, then Build-a-bear (got a gift card for Christmas), then McDonald's, a nap, opened presents, Amazing Pizza Machine where we had pizza, cake, and rode rides. Then ended by having another sleepover at Papa's hotel. Wow. It was quite the busy one. Here are a few pics:

Creighton's still learning how to hold up 3 fingers.

He wasn't as excited about the bike as we hoped but we're hoping once it gets warm he'll love it.

Jackson helped with the candles.
Creighton rode with Papa in the "Darth Vader" Black Car. Unfortunately, daddy and Jack beat them in the "Princess Pink" car.
Mitch was the only one brave enough to go on the rollercoaster with the boys. It makes me sick to even just look at them going in circles.

Easton had a lot of fun at the Pizza Machine too! He loves that he can walk and explore and do more big boy things. He loved everything except when the blue car moved...see below.

It definitely was an exhausting day but a lot of fun. Thanks to Mitch for coming home early and my parents for entertaining the boys. While they went to the movie and build-a-bear I was able to stay home and work on a project and it was so wonderful....oh and thanks to Easton for taking a three hour nap. Beautiful. Honestly.

Love you Creigh-Jay. Can't believe you are finally 3. I think you have acted three for 8 months...oh except the for the pooping in your pants thing. Still love you though and always will!

Parents

I will be honest and shed my tough self and tell you if you couldn't tell by my posts recently that it has been a rough month. I shouldn't complain, it could definitely be worse. My kids have been getting bored which was resulting in some clever activities which in turn caused my hair to be torn out. So....when my mom arrived last Thursday night I was shouting for joy. Friday she wanted to go out shopping but I just asked that she take the kids and leave me. That was a really nice hour I must admit. I should have taken advantage of it and did something, but I did nothing. It was nice.

She came home and look what she brought me...
If you can't tell what it is, it's a fitness kit with a NEW ball! She didn't just get me ONE kit, but she got me TWO! I thought she was crazy but then she told me the cost...they were $6.91 for a ball, a mat, 3 bands, a pump, and a workout dvd (They had clearanced them out at Sam's Club)! She said she wanted me to have a back-up ball in case another "accident" occurred. Thanks mom!

My parents just left this afternoon and it was hard to say goodbye. Creighton cried for 20 minutes straight. I felt like doing it to, but I kept it to just one minute. I am so thankful they could come and we had such a good time. I am especially thankful because the last two nights they stayed at a hotel and kept all 3 kids with them. Am I spoiled or what? I know, I am.

I love you mom and dad. You guys sacrifice so much for me. Thank you!

Shhhhh.....

I really don't want to go private. Is that bad? My grandparents just got internet so they could read my blog and if my mom can't even figure out how to log in.....well, you know. So, I know we will be going private soon, but I will probably wait until I get the lecture again from Mitch. He rarely reads the blog anyway, so I'm not worried.

While I'm blogging I better update on the thing I talk about more than anything: Potty training.

I have been resisting writing my frustrations in hopes that if I just don't talk about them, maybe, just maybe, they aren't real. I think, hmmmm, maybe if I don't verbalize how upset I am Creighton will never know and then maybe he will stop pooping his pants. I think it's been 2 weeks since the last real post about it and this hope is not materializing into anything good, so here I am.

The dr. said I need to stop caring and he will stop trying to make me miserable. He said I should give up on trying to potty train him for THREE months. THREE months! Are you kidding? He said I should keep him in underwear, but I shouldn't remind him to go to the bathroom, not care if he goes in his pants, etc etc. So this is what I have been doing. Has it worked? Well, it's been going better. He rarely pees his pants which is a plus, but he poops his pants almost everyday. Sick! Yes, sick.

I have this friend that was telling me that maybe I should just try leaving him in it. She said she had a friend that left him in it for a HALF HOUR. She said it like she was disgusted. That's when I thought to myself, "Should I tell her that generally Creighton goes HOURS in it or do you think she will think I am an awful person." It's true though. Seriously, the dr. says not to say anything and Creighton could care less that he is sitting in poop. One day it was five hours. No joke. I finally had to say something because I couldn't stand the smell any longer and I changed him. He screamed because his buns were sore. I kind of had this evil smirk while doing it thinking, "Good....this will teach him a lesson" but what do you think happened the next day, yes, he pooped his pants again. Blasted potty training!

Today, was really gross. Please don't go any further reading unless you dare. This may be in the "gray" area for posting. But hey, someone needs to tell you the truth about what kids do. In all the "pooping of the pants" experiences I have had this last two months, the poop has always stayed in the underwear (I feel blessed for this). However, today that changed. Jack came running up the stairs yelling, "Creighton pooped his pants, hurry Creighton pooped his pants. I thought they were chocolate balls, but they WEREN'T!" Creighton arrives at the top of the stairs right after him his his hand full of the smelliest "Chocolate balls." Disgusting! I went down to make sure he got them all, and Jackson said, "I think he got them all. We were careful." Yeah, don't really know how to comment on that one. We'll leave it at that.

This final paragraph is to my friends who have stopped sending their kids over to play (yes, you and I know who you are). I promise, we are good people. I sanitize. I don't just let my kids pee on things. I am just as grossed out as you are and I am taking the necessary sanitizing measures. I hope and pray just like you that this awful phase of life will end soon. Very soon.

AHHHHHHH!

I am about to rip my hair out. It all started last night. The boys went to bed about 8, and about 9:00 we hear them out of their room. 130 I go up there and Jackson is standing there with black all over his eyebrows. He looked completely ridiculous. I would have taken a picture, but I couldn't find it (more information as to why later). I started to laugh a little, but then I saw their room. They had gotten out a full tub of wet wipes and they were ALL sitting on the floor in a pile. They "Cleaned" their room. It would have been a nice gesture except they had done the same thing the day before. So with about $15 down the drain, I was mad.

As you may recall from a previous post, my last exercise ball was popped by my kids. I finally went out less than a week ago and purchased a new one. I bought the more expensive kind because it was dark blue and had "anti-pop" technology. I thought that it would hide any coloring that might occur and be more durable. Well, I went downstairs to find my ball flat and Easton's little blow up penguin popped. He found one of my sewing pins and poked them to death. Sadness. Another $35 down the drain.

I sent Jackson to his room (the one who did it) and told him to stay there. I went up 5 minutes later to talk to him and his room was covered with lotion. His bed, the walls, and the dresser. I am beyond furious. I leave the room, but while exiting, grab the lotion and my camera which happens to be sitting on his bed.

He is still in his room. I go up to check on him frequently to make sure nothing else is occurring. Mitch says we will have an extra FHE tonight on obeying parents (I think we have this FHE once a month). I checked my camera. 157 pictures of the "party" last night. I have posted a few. It definitely gave me an idea of everything that happened. Who needs a spy cam when you kids document it themselves for you.

AHHHHH! Seriously. If it doesn't get warm soon so we can go outside I am going to rip my hair out.

Addition to post: It's only been an hour since this post and a neighbor boy has peed on me, Creighton pooped his pants, and Easton hasn't napped yet today. Yeah, I'm loving today.

Why I don't have a dog

I used to have this dog named Bebop growing up.

The dog followed me around and wanted all my food. I have Easton for that.

Bebop would pee and poop in the wrong places. I have Creighton for that.

She would sometimes be onry and bark and whine. I have Jackson for that.

And sometimes she would cuddle with me. I have my boys for that.

Yeah, I definitely don't need a dog.

Happy Valentines Day

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! From....the boys.
It's been Valentines day all week. It started with Wednesday's Valentines Party at Cherubs. The kids had a great time and got lots of great Valentines. I only got a picture of them doing their puppets. They love the Lala song.
Thursday we spent most of the day making some Valentine frames for their Valentine picture (see above) to go in. They loves gluing hearts on. Anytime they can use scissors, glue, and markers, it's a good day for them. Not so much for me.

Friday was Jack's Valentine Party at the school. Creighton went with me to help and they made these fun Heart Hats.
Jackson's class made these super cute Valentine bags to collect the candy. I took a picture because I just know I'm going to have to do something like that one day.
Saturday Mitch and I went on a date. We found a babysitter and I was quite excited. The night got started later than we expected and by the time we went to find a place to eat, the first 4 restaurants we went in weren't even excepting walk-ins and were completely booked the entire evening. Our excitement of dinner and a movie quickly faded and turned into waiting for dinner and dinner. We ended up just going to Target after and got a few Valentines.

Today: Valentines Day. Cupid rang the doorbell and brought the boys these NERF guns. They said age 6+ but we thought they couldn't be that hard. Yeah, it was. They aren't strong enough pump it so it turned into mom and dad having to help them everytime they wanted to shoot a dart. Yeah, didn't go according to plan. Good thing they were only $8. We'll have to "put those away" for a few years.
Yes, it snowed again. This little guy wanted to come in so bad. He just sat at our sliding door for close to an hour.
Once again.....Happy Valentines Day!

The Fight

It has been bound to happen. In fact, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. Check out the bloody nose.
The story as told by mom:
I hear fighting downstairs (common noise in our home). I hear struggling. I hear Jackson saying, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry Creighton. I'm Sorry." Then, I hear, "BLOOOD, BLOOOOOD, MOM there is BLOOOOD." I go down there and there is Creighton with blood coming out his nose and blood on his shirt.

So....who did I announce as the winner:
EASTON!
Why: Because he was the smart one. He avoided the fight and when they started fighting he grabbed the apple away from them and got a snack. He was pretty happy about that.

The next hour involved me hearing Jackson crying saying, "Creighton, I said I'm sorry. Will you forgive me? Creighton, I'm sorry....." His guilt obviously kicked in and Creighton kept saying, "No, I don't forgive you."

Well, it's the first bloody nose......of many to come I'm sure.

Mother's Instinct

I didn't really believe in "Mother's Instinct" until I had kids of mine own. It has only come into play a handful of times and this morning it did again. Creighton had a cough last night and his breathing seemed quite labored. He was soooo tired and onry though so I put his to bed. When he woke up this morning he was in bad shape. He was so tired he couldn't walk. He was too tired to eat breakfast. He way just lying there and when I looked at his chest in was caving in under his ribs and his heart was beating out of his chest as if he had just ran a marathon.

I knew things weren't good and thought maybe I should go to the emergency room. I called the dr. and left a message for the nurse and proceeded to give him his breathing treatment to help with his asthma. It helped a lot. It helped so much I started thinking maybe I shouldn't even keep the appointment the nurse had called me back and made. I knew I needed to go, however, and I went. They checked his oxygen level and it was at 90. I asked the nurse what I good level is and she said at least 95. Me...thinking just 5 points away thought, "Oh good then, it's not too bad." When the dr. came in later he informed me that 90 is actually hospitalization for 2 days bad. Creighton at this point is moving around and acting completely normal. He said that he obviously handles this VERY well. This scared me to death. It really makes me wonder what his Oxygen level was before I gave him the breathing treatment that morning. Scary. They gave him another treatment at the office and it rose to 92 so obviously the treatments work and we were sent home with prescriptions.

He is now on a liquid steroid (which the dr. informed me has a side effect of children getting EXTREMELY onry by the 3rd day....hopefully there won't be posts of this effect.), he is having his breathing treatments a couple times a day and I am more aware that Creighton needs his medicine. I believe that keeping this appointment today was for me. I was supposed to be giving him the steroid treatments everyday, twice a day, for the last year. This was to build up his lungs to help prevent the very thing that happened today. I failed my little boy. I am just so thankful it wasn't worse than what happened. I am grateful for my wake up call. So....if you ever talk to me or see me around, ask me if I am doing my job. I need reminders.

Mitch's Favorite Birthday Present EVER.....

Yeah, that's right. He got "Flipper." My mom shipped Mitch his birthday present and we could tell it was a DVD and as he was opening it, he said, "Oh, I think I know what this was," but oh he was so wrong (apparently he was thinking of a "current" new release that he had been hinting he wanted and I hadn't picked up on the hint). I don't think either of us have ever seen Flipper but I am sure it's a classic so we really can't wait to watch it. Mom, Mitch wants me to tell you that this was his FAVORITE birthday present ever.

Here are a few more pictures from his special day.

The boys colored the wrapping paper and made cards with lots of stickers.
Jackson insisted on making a "Special" chair for daddy like I make for them with balloons.
I didn't have any so he drew pictures and hung them up on his chair. So sweet.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MITCH! WE LOVE YOU!

Souper Bowl Birthday

The last few years we've had a "Souper Bowl" party and we celebrate Mitch's birthday. Here he is right after Jack blew out his candles. Happy Birthday Honey!

Hours

A few weeks ago I was telling a friend how we had gotten this marble coaster building thing-a-majig for the boys for Christmas, but we didn't end up giving it to them due to going to UT and not wanting to travel with it. She said to me, "Oh, we had one of those when I was little and me and sibling would play with it for HOURS." HOURS, I said. HOURS. I had to try this. So, I let the kids open it up. They played with it, but I found it to not work that well unless I was helping them because they seemed to just keep knocking the towers done. Well, today I understood HOURS.

Mitch decided to help the boys build it this morning. Yeah, he was down there for HOURS. He went down about 9 a.m. and I was freaking out at him at about 12:45 (we leave for church at 1:00) to come up and get ready. Tonight he was so proud of it he was showing it to all his friends and then when he saw that the boys had destroyed it, he couldn't even go downstairs because it depressed him. He has seriously been talking about his "masterpiece" all day and is still talking about it as we speak. Here are the boys showing off Mitch's "masterpiece" (before destroying it).

An American Tale

Do you remember this movie? It's about Fivel the mouse and he travels to America "Where there are no cats and the streets are made with cheese." Anyway, I was having my boys watch it today while I was running on the treadmill and watching them with my video monitor to make sure they stayed watching it. Creighton came down at one point and said he was scared. I told him to hold Jackson's hand and that everything would be ok. About 10 minutes later I look at the video monitor and I can't see Creighton, only Jack. I run upstairs to see what mischief Creigh is up to and Creighton is tucked into Jackson's shoulder (so I couldn't see him) and he has tears streaming down his face. I go over and pick him up and he looks at me and his lip starts to quiver and he just starts sobbing. It was heartbreaking. He then says, "His daddy.....daddy" and sobs more and more.

Creighton is my tough guy, you know the one I told you about yesterday that when I was crying he was laughing. Yeah, that's him but today he showed his softer side. Obviously he really cares about families being separated and he was not liking that Fivel was lost from his family. He must feel the same way I do. I can't even imagine being separated from my family and the thought of it makes me cry as well. Thanks Creigh for reminding me of this. I am glad this upset you and I want you to know I never want to be separated from you. I love you buddy.

In conclusion, I have realized that I will not be showing Creighton "Bambi" anytime soon.
Jackson obviously wasn't as visibly upset as Creighton.

Haircut for E (about time)

Since the mullet was getting longer and after he got up from his nap he always had a ringlet (from playing with it while he slept) it was time for the E-man to get a haircut. Mitch gave the ultimatum that if I didn't get his haircut by Saturday, he would cut it. So, I ran across the street to my neighbor's house (thanks C) and she did an awesome job cutting it. Here's a few pics.

I forgot to take a picture of his new haircut, but this is one from tonight with his little friend Olivia. P.S. It was kind of sad that night to see him try and put himself to sleep since his hair wasn't long enough for him to twirl in the front. He tried about 10 times to wrap it in his fingers before he gave up.

Reminder about going private....

Please email me or leave your email address as a comment so I can include you when we go private. Reminder....no perverts allowed (see previous post if that sounds weird).

Apples

My boys love apples. Easton has picked up on this love. He sits around and waits for Jack & Creigh to drop the apple and then he crawls as fast as he can to grab it. He then devours it. I put a key next to his apple from today so you could get an idea of how small the remainder of this apple really was.

The Valentine's Boutique

I just got the information on that boutique I'm having my stuff at. It's kind of small writing, but it's on Thursday from 11:30-2:30 at 7829 S. Majestic Ridge Dr. (2765 E.) --close to Brighton High School. They are going to have a bunch of jewelry and other things.

Yeah, I should NOT have said anything

Yesterday was a sad day. After pooping his pants the night before, I hoped and prayed it was just a fluke. It was not. The next day I found that he had pooped and peed his pants. I was so upset that I actually starting crying. I start crying, Creighton starts laughing. I cry harder, he laughs harder. It was awful. 1 perfect week has gone down the drain and I am back to him manipulating me. I WANT TO WIN, but it's like he KNOWS. I posted that happy post and 2 hours later he has his first accident. You can't tell me it's a coincidence.

Sadness

Creighton pooped his pants tonight. Yeah, I knew I shouldn't have posted my good news. I am sad.

Potty Talk

I forgot to mention two conversations I had last week with Creighton while trying to urge him to start using the toilet again.

#1 - C: "Mom, you go potty out of your bum, but I go out of my SHOOTER GUN." (Imagine Creighton's excited voice as he says "Shooter gun.")

#2 - M: "Creighton when are you going to go poo-poo in the potty."
C: "Mmmm, maybe in 2 hours."

Don't you love 2 year olds. :)

For extra enjoyment I finally got a video made of him singing the "Accidents happen" song.

Now get ready to shout HALLELUJAH because I have been singing it all week. I have been afraid to officially post this in case that Creighton would catch my excitement and relapse again, but as of this moment he has been accident free for almost a week. In fact, he has refused to wear pull-ups even at night and he hasn't even had one at night. AMAZING! I really think it all came down to him thinking I didn't care and he lost interest in it when he saw I wasn't miserable anymore (I was though and it was tough to hide). Whatever his proogative was to make me crazy, it worked, but it's over and it's time to shout hallelujah and move on. Happy days.

Since the potty training issue is over....what's next for me: A 4 year old that has changed his bed time from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the last week. Why? I don't know. But, it keeps life interesting.

The Fat Puppet

E is a walker and he is so cute. You know when they first start to walk and it's like they don't know how to bend their legs so they walk like a puppet. Now imagine a fat puppet. It's so cute! Seriously, it really is cute. I love my chubby little E.

This week I took him in to find out he has another ear infection. Thankfully, he didn't look like the following when I took him:

I think if he would have had them at the appointment they would have been investigating me for child abuse. The pictures don't do his goose eggs justice, but those are just 2 of the many bruises he has from walking and falling. I remember this stage from the other 2 boys, but it still makes me feel so bad. Todays bruises were really bad. Poor guy. He's still smiling though.
