Creigh's Big Day! He's TWO!

Creighton celebrated his birthday on Monday and it was a busy day! We are in Utah right now and this first picture was on Saturday night. We had him open his presents before we left home. Creighton got a cool truck, Madagascar, and some other cheap toys.

We went to IHOP for breakfast and it started off with: "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to."
As soon as he got his eggs and syrup, he was all smiles.

We next headed over to Papa's place to play. The boys had a lot of fun. It was complete with the Jungle, bouncing, video games, and races on scooters and highchairs (I won, by the way).

Creighton had a nap while Jackson went to see "Dinosaurs in 3d" (or as my dad referred to as "Hotel for Dinosaurs" ---Jackson wanted to see Hotel for Dogs, but we couldn't find it playing anywhere). When Creighton woke up we met the others at the Museum.

We then went over to Tocanos for the birthday boy's dinner.

Here are pictures of Creighton with his birthday cake. Uncle Jordan's birthday was the next day so we celebrated his birthday too.
It took a long time to finally blow out these candles, I finally stepped in and ended it.
Please note: the Elmo cupcake cake from Sam's Club has frosting that makes you look ridiculous --Is is mean that I put red icing all over Easton's face? I had to since Mitch smooshed the green cupcake in my nose and we all had to be in the picture:

It was a really fun day! Believe it or not, but we actually did something else between dinner and cake, but I don't have pictures. It was a VERY full day, but the birthday boy had a lot of fun!
Happy Birthday Creighton! You bring so much fun and laughter to our family and we are so glad you are part of our family. We love you!

My Sweet Little Creigh

I know that most of my posts don't talk about my "Sweet" little Creigh, but more along the lines of "My Naughty Little Creigh," but he really is such a sweet boy. Many of you know that Creighton has always had trouble with his lungs. Everytime he gets a cold, it goes straight to his lungs and he immediately starts wheezing and has trouble breathing. Yesterday, he was having a really hard time and he was completely miserable. My Dr. has suggested in times past that Creighton might have asthma, but I always just blew it off because our families really have no history of asthma. However, he gave me a book to read about it, and I now realize, "Oh, he probably has asthma." He's such a warrior through it though. He rarely complains and most the time you wouldn't even know he is struggling. We now have to give him a steroid treatment through his nebulizer and he is such a good little boy. He's had about 5 treatments (of medicine and the steroid) the last 24 hours and he will just sit on the couch the whole 5 minutes and breathe it in. I've been really proud of him. Hopefully this steroid will build up his lungs and will prevent more problems in the future. It's going to be a pain doing it everyday, but luckily he's been really good and I hope he will continue to be. We're just thankful that he generally only has the problem when he gets sick and he isn't allergic to a lot of things. It's also has helped moving away from our smoking neighbor. :)

Here's a picture showing Creighton with his little mask on.

Easton is 2 months old

I can't believe it has already been 2 months. Time has flown. Easton is such a sweet little boy and he fits right in. He is definitely the third child. Unfortunately, he doesn't get as much mommy time, but we both love it when we get it. Easton is by far my best sleeper. The last few weeks he has been sleeping between 7-9 hours at night and I LOVE it. I can put him to bed at 9 and he usually won't wake up until 6 and then he goes right back to sleep. Yes, I am spoiled. My doctor said to enjoy it because at about 4 months old they start waking up for a feeding in the night. Easton has just started smiling and he has the biggest smile along with a little dimple. His brothers absolutely adore him, but fortunately they don't clobber him. He seems to be a little fussier than the other 2 boys were during the day, but considering how well he sleeps at night, I forgive him. He is still a little shrimp, but I am expecting him to plump up the next few months. Here are his 2 month stats:

Weight: 9 lbs. 12 oz (17.2%)
Height: 22" (27.8%)
Head Cir: 37.7 cm (13.59%)
Here is my smiling 2 month old:

We love you little E-man!

Happy Valentines Day!

This year has been fun for Valentines because Jackson is very into it. In fact, he even made Mitch and I Valentines. Jackson gave out Spiderman Valentines and Creighton had a random Tootsie pop Valentine. We had a similar experience to Halloween with Jackson, however, when he received a Barbie Valentine. He could not understand why anyone would give him that. It took a lot of explaining and he still didn't understand, but we have moved on. Here are my little guys in their Valentine outfits:

I love this picture. I don't exactly know what pose Jackson is doing, but it's great.
Here's my "King of Hearts" and his sweet cheesy smile.

This used to be Jackson's Captain Heartbreaker Outfit. Creigh is the new heartbreaker. Watch out ladies!

Easton's Shirt says, "Mommy's Love Monster." There is nothing monster about him though.

All 3 silly boys:

Here are the Valentines Jack made us. "To Daddy" is on the left in orange and "To Mommy" is the white one on the right.

Happy Birthday Mitch!

Monday was Mitch's birthday and we celebrated by getting a really large Costco cake and singing. That is pretty much all it consisted of, but it was still nice. Here are two pics from the special day.

Long Days

I haven't posted for a few weeks. This has been due to "long days." Easton is waking up from his 6 week sleep and I am still trying to adjust. He is the best sleeper at night (usually 6-8 hours at a time), but he isn't always the happiest camper during the day. It may just be the lack of attention he received....with the other two I definitely had more time. Today has been another long day. Jack and Creigh are in bed and I'm holding Easton and writing. Mitch should hopefully be home soon. Poor guy has school on Wednesdays from about 7:30-8:00 with very little if any breaks. I didn't really have anything to post. Even though it has been a few weeks, I have taken no pictures and almost would like to forget the past few weeks than remember them. During my little pity party here at home, however, I jumped on one of my greatest friend's blog and read this quote:
"Love your children. Cherish them, They are so precious. They are so very, very, important. They are the future. You need more than your own wisdom in rearing them. You need the help of the Lord...Pray for that help and follow the inspiration which you receive." -Gordon B. Hinckley
I do love my children. They are precious. Even though I have wanted to tear my hair out lately, I can't help but smile when I think of each one of them. Here are a few of my favorite pictures of them. Hopefully, they will make you smile too.
