Craze E

This is what I woke up to one morning.
Darth E traveled around with us where ever we went.

Dang, I love this kid.

Baseball and Buddies

I am officially a baseball mom.  With 5 games a week and 2 practices, I am starting to get a feel for my life in the future.  I know that it's just going to get crazier, and I always think in my head, "How did Mary do it?"

Creighton is playing baseball and soccer and Jackson is playing baseball.  They are doing awesome and learning so much.  Jackson is playing coach pitch and yesterday he was able to hit all 3 pitches.  He also is starting to catch much better as well.

Creighton scored 4 goals in soccer yesterday after a bribe of one piece of bubble gum per goal.  We always said we would never stoop to bribery, but when we scored 4 goals in one game compared to the single goal the entire season....bribery is looking pretty good.  I decided that Creighton is my "Stop and Smell the Roses" kid.  I think he needed something to get him to run...even though I do love that he looks at the beautiful world in such a happy way.

Here are some fun pics of my Creighton playing T-ball.

Are you wondering where the pictures of Jackson are?  Or were you so proud of me for taking such beautiful pictures?  We are super lucky to have a world-class photographer documenting every game and practice.  We love having her kid on our team.  Wahoo!  I think I will have to sign up with them everytime.

Sorry Jack.  Your mom is not a world class photographer.  I will at least try to be an amateur photographer at the next game though.

Lastly, we were SUPER lucky and blessed to have the Bleaks come and visit us last weekend.  It was a short visit, but it was still so much fun.

Benson, Jackson, Easton, Tanner, and Creighton
Mitch and I ran the SL Half Marathon together and we had our cheerleaders there waiting for us when we got home.
Such a fun weekend!!  I sure hope we get to see them again soon!

The Snotter

You know those things that kids would do before you had kids of your own, and you said, "My kids will never do that."  Yeah, my kids do ALL those things that I said that about.  They even do the super gross pick your nose and eat it thing.  I think I throw up a little in my mouth everytime, but how do you get them to stop.  I've explained the grossness.  I tell them that it makes me want to throw up.  I threaten.  It doesn't work.

This week, there has been a new level of grossness.

Easton is not a picker...usually.  But, Easton does not like to have any sort of snot near his nose.  He is always wanting his nose wiped.  Since he is sick, he is needing his nose wiped a lot.  The last couple days, I have caught him....NO JOKE....wiping his nose on: the couch, his pillow, the carpet, A DOOR, and my hair.  Seriously!  Don't most kids just wipe it on their sleeve.  Honestly, I kind of wish he just did that.    Instead, watching a him walk up to our door, lean up to it, and slide his nose across it is just horrid.  Nasty.

So yeah, my kids do those things that I said, "My kids will never do that."  They do those things and more things that I never even could dream of happening.  And still, I love them...so so much.

Had to take a picture of this.
Cutest little peeing rocket blaster knight ever!

Easter 2012

EB CAME!
EB left a little poem and hid their baskets.
Easton's was hidden in the shower.

Creighton's was hidden in the car

And Jack's was hidden on top of our molding in our living room.
 The happy boys:

E with his new light up shoes.

After the baskets we get them in their cute Easter clothes.  I LOVE THESE KIDS!!!

Had to throw this one in there:

The Hunts

We had 3 fun egg hunts this year!  The kids had a blast and we have bags and bags of candy to show from it.

The first one was at the ward on Friday with all their little church buddies.

Got to love this picture of E.
Jack with his bag of candy.

Creighton with the goods.

Jack and Creigh with some egg hunt buddies.
The next day, we had the Evers Family Egg Hunt.  Here are the younger kids getting ready to hunt.
Kyra, Dallin, Haley, Jack, E, Creigh, and Gavin

Creighton found the biggest egg.  He was beyond happy.
Especially when he saw all the goods.

All the cousins after the hunt.
The last hunt was at my parents house.

Getting ready to run.

They had such a good time at all the egg hunts and for the last week, their new favorite game is to hide eggs throughout the house and backyard and look for them.  My favorite was their excitement when they thought they spotted a hidden egg up in our pine tree.  They dragged me out there and I looked up to see a star spangled string bikini top hanging in the branches.  They insisted that there was probably an egg hidden in it.  I have yet to climb up to get it down to check.

My Basement Decorations

It couldn't be more fitting to decorate my kid's playroom in Monsters.  So, when I saw them, I had to have them.

They LOVE them.  They promptly named each of them.
The Emonster

The Jack Attack Monster

Creighton's Monster

Lazy Daddy Monster

And the mommy monster
Every time we get home, they run downstairs to make sure they are still there.  I love it.  Pretty sure Easton thinks they are real, but they are friendly he tells me.
