After the post last night, the morning took an even worse turn. The incident occurred again, however, this time it was REALLY bad. I will not give details as to what happened, but we'll just say it was exactly what I was afraid of happening. Above is the picture of my hope for a solution. Duct tape better not let me down.

Like Mother, Like Son
Creighton is following in my footsteps, and I am not pleased. My mother always told me that I hated wearing clothes when I was little. There are many pictures in my scrapbook to prove this. In the last week, I have gone down stairs to find Creighton completely stripped down with the diaper laying on the floor. I guess I am unlike my mother, however, because I have yet to be in the mood to take a picture. I'm just mad. I think may need to start using duck tape. We'll have to see how desperate I get. If he starts going to the bathroom places, it will happen.

Easton is 1 month old
I took Easton yesterday for his check-up. He is a little string bean. Here is where he ended up:
Weight: 8 lbs. 1 oz. (12th percentile)
Height: 21.75 inches (60th percentile)
Head Cir.: Can't remember but 20th percentile
Head Cir.: Can't remember but 20th percentile
So, he has gained a full inch since birth and about a pound. He is just very long and skinny. He feels so small to me, but that is probably because he weighs the same amount after a month as my other 2 boys when they were born. He has been such a good baby so far and his brothers love him SOOOO much. All they say is, "Oh, he's so cute" over and over again. We love you Easton!
P.S. I took the photo above. Pretty good huh? I think it almost looks professional. :)
Easton's Baby Blessing
We blessed Easton in Utah at our old ward (the Wasatch 9th ward) while we were there for Christmas on January 4th. We had a lot of support from friends and family and it was a great day. Mitchell gave Easton the sweetest blessing. It really was. Afterwards, since we don't have a home to congregate at, we went to the rink for food. My mom was AMAZING, as always, in helping me prepare for it and it was awesome. I am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life and Easton is one lucky dude. "Honorary Aunt Tawni" even traveled up from St. George for it...(Thanks Tawn!) Here are some pictures:
This is Easton before the blessing. He looked super preppy in his little sweater outfit. Boys blessing outfits are so much harder to find than girls and I wanted each of my boys to be distinctly different, but let's face it, there really isn't a variety with boys. Sorry Easton if you think you got the short end of the stick.

The Proud parents:
5 generations! Easton with his mom, grandma, great grandpa, and great great grandma.

A Crazy Couple Months
I think the last 3 months have been the craziest ever. In the last 3 months I have been in Utah 6 weeks of it (3 weeks after Que passed away, and 3 weeks for Christmas), I have planned a funeral, I have moved, gone to Disney World, had Mitch's parents come for Thanksgiving, had a baby, flew to Utah when he was 7 days old, Christmas, my dad's 50th birthday, our 7th anniversary and blessed Easton. All of this occured in exactly 3 months. October 4th-January 4th. I am back at home now and I finally feel like a normal person. It's quite exciting. All I can say is that I have had a million people help me these last few months, and I am ready to give back. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for me...you all know who you are.
Mama & Papa's Birthday
My mom and dad share their birthday on January 1st. My mom got kind of overshadowed this year, however, because it was the big 50 for my dad. Here are a few pictures. As you can see, my boys pretty much took over every aspect of his birthday celebration from blowing out the candles to opening his presents.
New Year's Eve
New Year's Eve is always one of my favorite nights of the year. It is "Big Jim's Rockin' New Year's Eve Party." We play Nert (the best card game) all night and have prizes, food, and fun! Mitch and I are fairly good at the game, and we tend to win many prizes which makes it even more fun. :)
I don't know what Creighton was doing. Half of his pajamas and diaper were off. He must not have figured out how to get the other leg out. All I know is it looks like they were partying hard.
This year, we put the boys to bed before the festivities started. When we came up to go to bed hours later, their light was on and it was obvious they had some festivites as well. Well....I don't know what you would call it. There really wasn't anything inappropriate in the pictures, but to make sure I protect my children, I have added a snowflake. Here are the pictures:

My Skinny Little Guy
I took Easton to the Dr. last week just to make sure I wasn't starving him. (I have done that to one of my children in my past...not knowing it of course.) He weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz. so he is a few ounces more than his birth weight. I think he has gotten a few inches longer, however, because he is a little string bean. I am not home yet, but when I get home I will post a picture of Jackson when he was super skinny for a comparison.
By the way, that is the blanket that I made....just kidding, I watched Marianne make as I attempted to help. Thanks Marianne! We LOVE it!
Oh, Mitchell
For those of you (which isn't many of you, if any) wondered what I got for Christmas, I will tell you. Actually, I will show you. It proves (like his request for you to vote for "his" name) that he will make an excellent lawyer.

Christmas Day
It was a very Merry Christmas for our family! We had a lot of fun and the boys were spoiled rotton. They got SO much candy and we had a lot of fun with family. It started at my parent's house for presents and breakfast. We then went to Mitch's parent's house for lunch and then went with the Evers' to the rink for our annual Christmas party there. It was a lot of fun. Mitch requested I put the video I recorded of him beating his brother on the inflatable obstacle course twice (and even knocking out our neice after one win), but I haven't quite figured out how to put video on my blog. Maybe one day honey. For now, everyone will just have to imagine.
