Park City, Swimming, and The Race

Here are a few pictures of the boys up in Park City. They had a lot of fun! Jackson especially liked the Alpine Coaster. Apparently it went really fast but Jackson absolutely loved it and was laughing the whole time.

Here are a few pictures right before my sweet Creighton was attacked by the bees and stung 3 times. How could they hurt him? I guess it was good he had on a body armour suit so he didn't get stung more.

Here is a picture of Mitch and I after the Provo Canyon Half Marathon. Mitch was nice enough to run a little slower with me so I had someone to run with. I've been wanting to run it since I got sick last year and couldn't complete it. When I found out I was pregnant back in April, I thought I would have to sit it out again, but when my doctor gave me to go ahead I went for it. It was a long training period and I am just glad it is over.

Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy

Jackson and Creighton, it's time to start making room in your "house" because your little brother is coming for Christmas.

I know most of you know have heard the news, but I thought I would make it official for those of you who have not. We are having another boy! He is due on December 27th......a lovely due date, I know. It was a long 20 weeks keeping it a secret from everyone and I am sure many noticed my expanding waistline, and I appreciate you all pretending as though you didn't notice.
We'll keep you updated on the baby progress, but as of now I can say that according to the ultrasound 3 weeks ago, he appears healthy and it is a HE.

The Trip

This will be a quick blog with no pictures. Many of you have asked me how my flight was, so I will tell you. Don't do it! Do not travel alone with your two boys...especially one being 17 months. I was very strategic in my planning and it all backfired on me. Both boys were extremely tired, and almost fell asleep on the way to the airport. I kept them awake though, because I knew they would wake up with all the up and downs of going through secuity and then getting on the plane. So, I had two boys that were so tired and with a 2 1/2 hour flight, neither of them slept. It was a small plane and there were only 2 seats and Jackson would not share his seat with Creighton and it was a battle the whole time. It's been a week though and I have gotten over this miserable experience. Luckily, Mitch will be flying back with us and he will get to share in the misery.

We've been really busy since being in Utah. The boys are playing hard and it's been fun to be
with family and catch up. My poor little Creighton has had a hard trip though. We went swimming last week and he was attacked by a swarm of bees. He was stung 3 times. Once in the ear, on the hand and on his finger. It was so sad and he was hysterical for quite a long time, but with some benedryl and a good night's sleep, he was just fine in the morning. He also had a hard fall and scraped up his eye pretty bad and had a nice black eye the next day. Despite it all, he is still my happy little boy.

I will post pictures of the trip next week when we get back to Omaha.
