It starts the Saturday before Christmas with my Grandpa Larry's party. This year we had it at Hires/Litza Pizza. The kids received their first present of the season and it was quite exciting.
Them with their goods:
| Easton got this singing Snowman. I think I heard her sing 100 times that weekend. She has mysteriously disappeared. If you see the LOST posters, keep walking, don't bother looking for her. |
| Jack and Creigh were quite excited (can you tell?) about their new rock-n-roll cars. |
The next party happens the next day, the Monday before Christmas, and it's the Mather Family Christmas party. This party has the best food and it always has a great spiritual program. Again, no pictures were taken. Imagine us eating a food and going back for 2nds. That's what it looked like.
We then had a few day break before the Santa Christmas party....which was previously mentioned and posted about.
Christmas Eve morning we had all the Evers over for a Christmas Eve breakfast. We ate a lot and no pictures were taken.
Christmas Eve night was spent at my parents.
Christmas Morning was spent with just us. (First year since Jack was 6 months old)
After church we had Christmas breakfast at my parents.
That afternoon we had the Christmas finale with the Evers at Papa's place with our traditional game of Lights Out. (We turn out all the lights in the whole place and play hide-and-seek in the inflatables. Highlight of the year for my kids.)
It was a fun and busy Christmas full of gaining weight, hugging many many people, and remembering how blessed we are to have such wonderful family surrounding us. We are truly blessed.
