The Apple Orchard

It's our 5th fall here in Omaha, and we hadn't made it to an apple orchard yet.  It has been the most beautiful weather, so we took advantage of it and went yesterday.  It was the end of the season, so there weren't many apples left and the majority of them were on the ground, rotten.  However, we were able to find a decent one for each of the boys to pick off the trees.  Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of that.  Just of the events beforehand.  You'll just have to imagine us trudging through the trees, the boys tripping and falling on rotten apples, and eventually reaching them high enough to pick an apple.

You don't know how long it took just to get this picture.  Still no eyes open, E not looking.

I have no idea what those green things were.
There were real, and they looked like a giant apple.

In some boat thing.  Who knows.

Creighton crawling through the tires.

My Jack.

The 3 boys on the giant tires.

We had a great time.  Thank you Omaha for proving us with a beautiful fall this year.  We've missed it in the past.
