This will be a quick blog with no pictures. Many of you have asked me how my flight was, so I will tell you. Don't do it! Do not travel alone with your two boys...especially one being 17 months. I was very strategic in my planning and it all backfired on me. Both boys were extremely tired, and almost fell asleep on the way to the airport. I kept them awake though, because I knew they would wake up with all the up and downs of going through secuity and then getting on the plane. So, I had two boys that were so tired and with a 2 1/2 hour flight, neither of them slept. It was a small plane and there were only 2 seats and Jackson would not share his seat with Creighton and it was a battle the whole time. It's been a week though and I have gotten over this miserable experience. Luckily, Mitch will be flying back with us and he will get to share in the misery.
We've been really busy since being in Utah. The boys are playing hard and it's been fun to be
with family and catch up. My poor little Creighton has had a hard trip though. We went swimming last week and he was attacked by a swarm of bees. He was stung 3 times. Once in the ear, on the hand and on his finger. It was so sad and he was hysterical for quite a long time, but with some benedryl and a good night's sleep, he was just fine in the morning. He also had a hard fall and scraped up his eye pretty bad and had a nice black eye the next day. Despite it all, he is still my happy little boy.
I will post pictures of the trip next week when we get back to Omaha.

Wow, thanks for the warning, I flew alone with the boys when Conner was 6 months old and Landon was 2 1/2 and they were great but I can't imagine doing it now! I'm glad Mitch will be with you for the last leg! Glad you're having a good time at home though, that's a good consilation huh?
Ok, so now I am freaked out about my flight next month. I am so excited to come out there and see you but I am TERRIFIED of flying alone with Stella for the 1st time. I will need to get some pointers and tips from you.
I can't believe Creighton got stung 3 times, that is seriously so sad. I am sorry that he is having problems with bees and black eyes. Poor kid!
oh man, you are so brave! I would NEVER even try that alone! Allie, you are my hero.
Ohhhh I am so sorry! I can't believe that they didn't fall asleep, the little stinkers. You should just make Mitch sit next to both and have him deal with them going back so he knows what you had to go through. :) Just kidding!
That's sad about Creighton and the bees and scary. Why do bugs have to sting and bite?? Hope to see you soon! And hopefully your flight will be better.
